Rory Ingham Biography
Rory Ingham is an award-winning trombonist, educator, composer and bandleader known for his dynamic versatility across jazz and commercial music.
Rory appears regularly with the BBC Big Band, John Altman and Geoff Gascoyne, at Ronnie Scott’s, Bimhuis (Amsterdam), and the London Jazz Festival. He is Director of Jazz at the East London Community Band.
Rory has performed in major West End productions, and his work has featured in the UEFA
Champions League Final (BT Sport) and the upcoming film ‘The Runner’.
Rory achieved First-Class Honours in Jazz Trombone from the Royal Academy of Music and holds a Foundation Degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy, combining musical excellence with a unique awareness of emotional intelligence in education. A passionate educator, he has led masterclasses at Leeds Conservatoire, Royal Northern College and Chetham’s School of Music.
